The previous University website was built in 2008, using then-outdated code, with a stale, vaguely corporate, and cluttered look that by 2010 had seriously outgrown its original navigational structure. I freshened up the styles, giving it a brighter, cleaner modern look and a new, wider Flash homepage slideshow that echoes the institution’s core values in its messaging.
Code was updated to reflect current standards, decrease page load time, and improve Search Engine Optimization, and drop-down navigation was improved for a less confusing user experience.
